Sixth & I Historic Synagogue

Sixth & I Historic Synagogue is a stunningly preserved 1908 Conservative synagogue that now serves as both a thriving Jewish community institution and a nationally recognized arts and cultural venue. Its 800-seat sanctuary combines Beaux-Arts grandeur with the warmth of a historic house of worship.

Today, Sixth & I hosts an extraordinary range of programming across music, comedy, and literature - everything from intimate acoustic concerts to sold-out comedy shows. Artists who have performed include Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, Father John Misty, and Sharon Van Etten.
